Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance airs on PBS in the Akron-Cleveland area of Ohio anticipating the upcoming performance at the Gund Arena. Watching television after basketball practice, Justin randomly tunes into PBS and his life is forever changed.

With no prior dance experience, Justin becomes fascinated with what he experiences on PBS and begins researching Irish dance. He then attends the Lord of the Dance performance promoted on PBS at the Gund Arena with his entire family. Following the performance, Justin orders himself a pair of Irish dance hard shoes.

For a year and a half, following school and basketball practice, Justin retires to his parent’s basement where he studies the VHS tape of Lord of the Dance and teaches himself every step until four in the morning night after night.
